Scott Dennis – Parent and Boingboing Project Manager
I am a parent of three adopted children with complex needs and a Senior Administrator and Project Manager with Boingboing. I have worked with Boingboing since 2014 and I really enjoy the variety of work. My day to day job can vary from supporting co-workers at events, giving presentations on our ‘Co-Designing Resilience’ project at conferences, building our Resilient Moves ‘pop-up-shop’ to raising invoices and sorting out the payroll. Before joining Boingboing, I worked as a Financial Analyst and so it’s been quite a change for me. I don’t miss spending all day staring at spreadsheets!
As a parent, I have seen how the Resilience Framework can be used in practice and how it can be used to help build a person’s resilience. So important to foster talents, develop life skills and have a laugh along the way.
There’s a great team at Boingboing and everyone mucks in and performs a variety of different roles. I’m looking forward to where the role will take me and all of the exciting projects that I will be involved in.
