Session Summary
Michelle is the CEO/Founder of Unsilenced Voices, a non-profit organisation focused on eradicating domestic abuse and sexual gender-based violence worldwide. Unsilenced Voices aims to inspire change in communities around the globe by encouraging victims to break free and survivors to speak up about domestic violence and sexual assault. Unsilenced Voices also takes action to provide shelter and relief to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual gender-based violence worldwide. In this session Michelle will be discussing the experiences of disadvantaged women and how they have to be resilient in order to overcome their difficulties, especially in countries with low average incomes.

Michelle Jewsbury CEO/Founder of Unsilenced Voices non-profit organisation.

Biography  
Michelle is a humanitarian aid worker, CEO, author, and actress. Born in Idaho USA, she now works internationally with a particular focus on supporting victims of abuse and children in Guatemala, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Hyderabad. Michelle is also an inspirational speaker who uses her own story as a survivor of physical, sexual, emotional, and financial abuse as encouragement and motivation for others.
