Including people with learning disabilities in research  – A co-produced film

A short, animated film co-produced with people with learning disabilities that explains why it is important to include people with learning disabilities and autism in research. The presenters also talk about how to properly involve people with learning disabilities and autism in research and how research funders and university-based researchers can help to make sure research is more inclusive of people with learning disabilities. This film has been made by Boingboing together with ambassadors, co-researchers, staff, students and volunteers from Arts Connect, The Resilience Revolution and the University of Brighton.

This film was originally showcased at our June 2021 Resilience Forum: Including people with learning disabilities and autism in research. You can find out more about the forum and download the presentation slides here.
